Cheap Diapers and Discount Diapers
Your baby is arriving in 3 months’ time. Should you be getting those diapers ready? Maybe there is a warehouse sale selling cheap diapers and you think it’s a good idea to stock them up. Maybe you can learn a little about the diapers before running out to get them.
Today’s diapers are super absorbent, have adhesive tapes and elastic waist bands. They are also much thinner than those in the 1970’s and are also relatively cheaper. The disposable baby diapers of most brands have different layers which allow the transfer of urine to an absorbent layer where the waste is held. Other common features of disposable diapers include one or more pairs of either adhesive tape to keep the diaper securely fastened.
Some disposable diapers have tapes which allow adjusting of fit or reapplication if the diaper is unsoiled. Elasticized fabric around the leg and waist helps in fitting and in containing urine or stool which has not been absorbed. A disposable diaper may also include an inner fabric that holds the moisture against the skin for a brief period before absorption to alert a toilet training or bedwetting user that they have urinated.
Some disposable diapers include fragrances, lotions or essential oils in order to help mask the scent of a soiled diaper or to protect the skin. Care of disposable diapers is minimal, and primarily consists of keeping them in drawers or diaper stackers before use.
You may be able to get cheap diapers well ahead of time but you won't know exactly what size you need until your baby is born. And you cannot be sure what brand of diapers to buy until you see what works on your baby's skin. You may also consider cloth diapers and make use of diaper cover for a start as these cloth diapers can adjust better to the baby's size.
Some babies have really sensitive skin and for some reason, they get more rashes with certain diapers even if you use the best baby wipes . As far as the sizes, the newborn size would not fit for very long. It’s best to stock up on size 1's for your new baby. Buy the smallest pack of a few different kind to try out and see which works best for your baby. Or you could wait and see what size the hospital gives you and they should give you enough for a night or so. Use the ones in the hospital, and take the rest of the pack when you leave. If you like the ones they had, then use more of them. Then you could go out and buy some then. It all depends on which diaper best fits your baby's size and shape.
